My Jerk chicken has been marinating in the fridge for a couple of hours now and cannot wait to get it. Mix jerk seasoning with red rum and brush onto chicken halves.   6. Stir in all the vegetable slices, lime and pinapple squares, and sugar. Mix.
  7. Preheat another pan, add some olive oil. As sone as the oil starts to blister, add the meat. It should be sautéd for 4 minutes each side with salt and pepper..
  8. When the meat is ready, put it into the other pan and let cook for a few minutes.
  9. Now the rice should be done. Serve everything with some sour cream..

Hot, succulent Jamaican Jerk Chicken is a tropical treat. You'll love the heat and flavor of this fiery marinade. This recipe simply did not fit my taste. It was tasty, but ended up tasting too much like ginger, and not much like jerk chicken. It might be better fitting for the right taste buds.
